This style of shield with its handmade painted design was copied from grave steles for legionairies and trajan's column in Rome. It is made from plywood with a linen surface and a rim of brass. It weighs abt. 6 kgs. (13 lbs). Overall height : 107 cms. (42 inch) Overall width : 72 cms. (28,5 inch) measured along the surface.
